Welcome back, scouts! Since we’re halfway through the year this month, we decided it was time for some double trouble! We’re so excited to announce our eighth & nineth mystery boxes in the MITS Route Scout competition (Click here for more information about Route Scout)! We will reveal new photos and clues of 2 painted traffic signal control boxes every week on social media and post a monthly clue package on the MITS website. TWO lucky winners will walk away with a prize package filled with local goodies!
How to Play:
- Look at MITS social media posts
- Guess which MITS bus route OR intersection the featured box sits on
- Submit guess at https://www.mitsbus.org/route-scout/ (All correct entries will be entered to win)

JUly Route Scout Box Clue Packages
Box 1: Don’t spend this summer burrowed away, explore Muncie and win prizes along the way! The route this box is on hops past the beautiful Saint Mary Church and Ball Memorial Hospital. It can be tricky but stay HOPtimistic and follow the White River. The artist used inspiration from her family and Muncie to create this masterpiece. Fall down the rabbit hole and decode our clues! Submit your guess if you want a chance to win the prize!
Box 2: This box is full of beauty! Route Scouts you will have to put the petal to the metal to find this one! You might see it while on your way to do some grocery shopping at Walmart or GROWING to eat at Pizza King. This box will be hard to catch but someBUDy will win some fun prizes. Don’t forget to submit your guess when you spot this SUNSET-tional box.
