March 18th, 2024, is National Transit Employee Appreciation Day! What better way to show MITS Employees how much they are appreciated
for their hard work in Muncie!
Since 1981, MITS has been a pillar of service for our community, assisting over 800,000 riders just last year. With 14 diverse routes, our dedicated transit employees have been instrumental in ensuring that Muncie residents can easily access the destinations vital to their daily lives.
We honored our employees throughout National Transit Employee Appreciation Day, with thanks extended to the Thompson Insurance Group for their generous gift card donation. The day was filled with treats, including morning donuts, a delicious Chick-fil-A lunch, and various other small surprises to bri
ghten their day. The celebration continued onto Tuesday with Spotted Monkey Marketing and Mulligans providing Pizza and Bread Sticks for all of the employees.
