NEW Prairie Creek Reservoir Bus Route!

UPDATE (7/23): Unfortunately, due to the closure of Prairie Creek Beach we will no longer be offering the shuttle. If you happen to know any lifeguards please have them apply here.

Slip into your swimsuit and grab your sunscreen, because we have some great news for you! MITS will be adding a FREE bus route to the Prairie Creek Reservoir! The route will run every Friday and Saturday starting June 11th and going through July 31st (8 weeks total).

Buses on this route will:

Depart the MITS station at 10:30 am
Arrive at the reservoir by 10:50 am (Beach opens at 11 am)
Drop-off options will include: the beach area, the tent campground, and the multiuse trailhead
Arrive back at Prairie Creek around 4 pm to take passengers back to the transfer station by 4:30, in time to catch other end-of-the-day bus routes back home.

As mentioned above, this service is completely FREE OF CHARGE for all passengers, so be sure to take full advantage of this amazing summer route! This free route was made possible thanks to the generosity of the City of Muncie, Councilman Ingram, Councilman Robinson, Councilwoman Davis, and MITS Bus.
