Since 1981, MITS has been a pillar of service for our community, assisting over 800,000 riders just last year. With 14 diverse routes, our dedicated transit employees have been instrumental in ensuring that Muncie residents can easily access the destinations vital to their daily lives.
On March 18th, when you see a transit employee (at MITS or anywhere you might be) take part in National Transit Employee Appreciation Day and say Thank You! Millions of riders depend on public transportation in the United States and it’s important we do our part to appreciate their hard work.
