MITS, Muncie’s local transportation provider, is excited to announce the “Reindeer on a Route” promotion. This social media contest begins on Monday, December 16th, 2019 and runs through Tuesday, December 24th, 2019. Route reindeer will be placed on different routes and MITSPlus vans throughout the 8 days.
A reindeer will also visit select locations along routes each day. You may see a reindeer near coffee, ice cream, cookies, books or just playing around (hint, hint). When you see a reindeer on a bus, van or visiting a location – snap a picture and post it with the hashtag #MITSreindeer. Every picture puts you in a drawing to win a pair of Apple Airpods! Follow MITS on Facebook and/or Instagram and be on the look-out for a #MITSreindeer.
Official Rules: Participants must post a photo of one of MITS’ reindeer on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #MITSreindeer. The photo has to be public. Each participant has 24 hours to post their reindeer photo, limit one fixed route or MITSPlus entry per day. An additional entry will be earned if the participant takes a picture of one of the reindeer that is visiting a location. Participants CANNOT use another person’s photo. Limit up to two (2) entries per day and up to sixteen (16) entries throughout the contest. MITS reserves the right to alter any parts of this promotion at any time.
This rule is necessary for safety reasons. The pool area was cordoned off at different sections each day & restricted walking around the pool with workmen drilling & hammering from 8am every day.
