At Muncie Indiana Transit System (MITS), we understand that many people are still dependent on our services. To get our riders where they need to go during this time, we will continue to run our services as usual.
MITS is committed to your health and safety. We have three full time bus cleaners and two limited part time cleaners who vacuum, disinfect, clean windows and wash buses nightly. We are focusing on keeping the MITS fleet clean for our riders.
Please help us protect our riders by washing your hands frequently and for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose, & mouth, always cover your cough or sneeze, avoid close contact with those who are sick and stay home when you are sick.
We are committed to taking the appropriate measures to prevent the spreading of germs and disease, and there are lots of things you can do to protect yourself!
The MITS Staff continues to monitor the recommendations of the CDC, WHO, FTA and the President. We realize that MITS & MITSPlus are the only means of transportation for some and we will continue to serve the Muncie Community. We will continue to communicate through the website, social media, and the MITS Bus app.
