Cool Down at the Transfer Station

Muncie Indiana Transit Systems is opening its doors to the public to cool down. With temperatures hitting a record high this week, MITS will be a safe haven to get you out of the heat. Feel free to stop in for a nice breeze of air conditioning at the MITS transfer station today, tomorrow June 15th, and Thursday, June 16th. MITS will also be providing water FREE of charge. Stop by the transfer station anytime during our open hours to cool down and get hydrated. 

The transfer station is located on High St in Muncie, Indiana. Please visit anytime 6:15am – 6:45pm today, tomorrow and Thursday to cool down and get free water.
