Today, March 18th, we recognize Transit Appreciation Day and the dedicated individuals at MITS who make public transportation in our community possible.
Behind every route and schedule is a team of people who show up each day ready to serve. From bus operators and maintenance staff to dispatch and support teams, their work keeps Muncie connected in meaningful ways.
As part of this year’s celebration, local students shared their creativity by coloring pictures for our team. We also invited the community to submit messages of appreciation. Those notes, along with the student artwork, are now displayed for employees to see and enjoy.
