After 43 incredible years of dedication to our community, Larry Featherston officially clocked out for the final time.
For more than four decades, Larry has been a steady and reliable presence on the maintenance team at MITS. Behind every safe, smooth ride our passengers experienced was the hard work of dedicated professionals like Larry—ensuring our fleet stayed road-ready day in and day out.
His commitment, work ethic, and pride in keeping our vehicles operating safely have made a lasting impact not only on MITS, but on the entire Muncie community. While many riders may not have seen the work happening behind the scenes, Larry’s contributions were felt on every route, every shift, and every mile traveled.
Forty-three years of service is an extraordinary milestone, and it speaks volumes about Larry’s loyalty, leadership, and dedication. He has been a valued team member, a trusted colleague, and a vital part of keeping our transit system running strong.
