The starting wage is $20.62 per hour after completing paid training through our new CDL training course, which begins in January 2025. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package with health, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, as well as life insurance, PERF retirement, and paid vacation.
As a MITS Bus Operator, you will operate a variety of buses and vans to provide safe, efficient, and on-time transportation for passengers while delivering excellent customer service. Operators must adhere to traffic laws and MITS policies to ensure the safety of all passengers.
Candidates must hold a valid Indiana driver’s license with a clean driving record. A CDL is not required, and paid training is provided to meet MITS driving standards.
